May 1, 2010: Getting toys by name – in a wind storm!!!
It’s been about a year and a half since our last video (here). But as you’ll see, we’ve been busy!
I think this video is interesting for several reasons:
(1) Shayna has lots of new toys.
(2) A gust of wind knocked her entire box of toys into the grass!! (It also really messed up the sound — sorry about that!).
(3) So instead of retrieving and putting away her toys in lots of 5 or 6, Shayna had to pick them all up, one by one, until the whole mess was cleaned up!
As you can see, Shayna’s getting really good at this, and at distinguishing between putting her toys in the bowl, the box, and on the pole, depending on the command.
