DogFoodScoop.com: A volunteer-run site that provides in-depth background information, manufacturer profiles and comparative analyses of dog foods.

DogAware.com: Lots of interesting information on dog nutrition and related issues.

“10 ‘People’ Foods for Dogs: Provide variety and a nutritional boost,” by Elizabeth Pask and Laura Scott, Modern Dog Magazine.

Drs. Foster & Smith: Noted long-term veterinarians have posted more than 2,000 articles covering a huge range of topics. Also a source of dog pharmaceutical items and accessories.

WebMD for Dogs: Probably the most well-rounded, well-designed all-around resource I’ve encountered. Gorgeous site.

Dog Food Reviews: A volunteer-run site created by dental surgeon(!) Dr. Mike Sagman, applying his scientific research skills to the task of deciphering ingredient lists and other open-source information to rate top brands of dog food.  He began the site as an outgrowth of his fury over his suspicion that “approved” food killed his beloved rescue dog.

Dog Food Insider: A new site created by dog activist Mike Rogers, that describes itself as “the place for dog food reviews and dog nutrition information.”
