Photo-burst: Our ride to a shopping center for a walk

Shayna doesn’t care much for other dogs, but she loves people.  I think she’s gotten so smart, so intuitive, and sensitive to people’s faces, that a part of her thinks she is a person, trapped in a dog’s body.  (I share her belief).  So one of the things we like to do is go walking at Stonefield Shops, a new outdoor shopping center at a major, centrally-located intersection near my place.

It’s too far to walk, so we ride down there in the truck.  And one of the parts of our life together that I enjoy the most, is riding with her, feeling her sunny spirit and aura over my right shoulder, and being able to see her huge smile in my rear-view mirror, as we ride along.

On March 4, we took a ride down to Stonefield, but on that day, I took the big camera with, and grabbed the following stills, which I think convey her incredibly bright spirit, in a different way than our videos do:
