21Dec13: Walk through the woods
On this walk through the woods behind my place, I comment on how different of a world it is, now that my book about Shayna is finally done, instead of something I am “working on.” Shayna seems very happy, and even leads me on a trail that goes through the woods (off the main path), which is her signal to me that she wants to hear the little adaptation of “Hi Ho, Hi Ho,” from Disney, that I sing to her as we do this particular thing. It’s a joy to oblige her.
I also thank all the donors to Shayna’s Health Fund, without whom we would not have made it to this wonderful day.
